The Secret Place
In the spirit, there exists a sacred place known as the Secret Place, a sanctuary where believers in Jesus Christ, cleansed by His redeeming blood, can intimately commune with Him. Regrettably, many Christians overlook this divine inheritance, overshadowed by the constraints of religious dogma.
This inner realm of your spirit is intricately linked with the Heavenly Realms and often serves as the initial point of encounter between the Lord and His followers before venturing into broader spiritual dimensions. It was within this Secret Garden that I first encountered Jesus during deep moments of prayer and worship. This hidden retreat fosters an unwavering pursuit of God, nurturing a deep and intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior.
The Secret Place transcends the Heavenly Realms and often appears like a beautiful Garden, Palace, or peaceful Green Pastures. For this reason, I call it the Secret Garden symbolizing the restoration of the Garden of Eden. Even amid weariness, loneliness, and exhaustion, the Lord extends a heartfelt invitation to meet Him there, just as we are, to receive His rest and restoration. If your walk and relationship with Jesus has been dry and intermittent, it is time to seek deeper intimacy with Jesus in the Secret Place!
Psalm 91:1 - "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
Jeremiah 29:13 - "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."
Psalm 27:5 - "For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock."
Isaiah 45:3 - "I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel."
Matthew 6:6 - "But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly."
Colossians 3:3 - "For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."
