In June 2025 God brought Paul and Russell Bayliss, an apostle of Christ Jesus, together at a midweek Bible study at New Barn Church on Anglesey led by brother Andre. This divine joining quickly led to Paul joining Russell on a 6 day mission in Bergerac, in the Dordogne region of France, in the same month.

Below is a timeline and details of the prophetic declarations that have been released over the entire region of Bergerac and the surrounding towns and villages, and we give God all the glory, praise and glory for everything He is doing by His Spirit in both the lives of our brothers and sisters and all those who haven’t yet been set free by Jesus.

1 – How This Divine Mission Began

Around 2016 Russell was part of a fellowship in Ashford, Kent (UK). While there he was divinely joined to 2 other members of the body of Christ, Steve and Sheree St James. Despite going their separate ways Russell and Steve stayed in touch and in mid May 2025 God opened a door for Russell to visit Steve and Sheree at the property they had bought in Tremolat.

Steve and Sheree had moved here around 5 years earlier following the leading of the Holy Spirit in order to establish a house of prayer. Here is the website for their ministry – www.mlpbergerac.fr.

During the course of his visit Russell began to sense that the Holy Spirit was calling him to lend his shoulder to the plough in this part of France. He therefore booked another trip in June 2025, orginally thinking he would be making the trip on his own. But God had other plans!!!

Following the divine connection made between him and Paul, who Russell considers to be a true disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ and one of His apostles, Russell was overjoyed to be able to ask Paul if he would like to join him for that stay in Bergerac. Led by the Spirit Paul accepted the invitation and the divine mission began with the Uber driver to take both men to Bristol Airport.   

2 – The Start Of The June 2025 Mission To Bergerac

 With incredible expectation, Russell and Paul embarked on the start of their journey, and as God has promised to do, He began giving both men divine encounters starting with the Uber taxi driver. Divine conversations continued with both fellow believers (and a staunch atheist!) at Bristol Airport and on the Ryanair flight to Bergerac, and following each of the encounters prophetic declarations were released by Paul and Russell, knowing the profound significance of every single encounter and the individuals who were being reached.

From arriving at Bergerac Airport God continued to show how His Sovereign hand was upon every moment including the provision of a wonderful taxi driver who was even happy to receive payment for the fare when he picks both men up to bring them back to Bergerac Airport. We thank God for this mans life and for everything he will do to advance God’s Kingdom upon the earth.

3 – Prophetic Declarations On Day 1 Over The Whole Region Of Bergerac & Beyond

 During the 1st evening of the mission, the Holy Spirit led Paul and Russell to go out on to the streets of Bergerac, with the specific direction that they were going to be led into the life of at least one fellow believer living in Bergerac.

This happened above and beyond Paul and Russell’s expectations, as God tells us in His Word in Ephesians 3:20, and God used Domino’s Pizza to bring about truly divine encounters, that continued through the city.

Following each encounter Paul and Russell released prophetic declarations over those who just had a completely unexpected encounter with 2 disciples of Jesus from England.

On returning to their accommodation, the Spirit led Paul to pick up the copy of the 500+ page ministry book FAMILY – From Ashes to Beauty, and by faith opened the book up at the page and message that God wanted them to proclaim over the people of Bergerac.

The Spirit in fact led Paul to the following 3 messages which were read, declared and decreed over the whole region of Bergerac – messages which gave profound confirmation of the prophetic declarations released earlier in the evening whilst walking the streets of Bergerac:

1)  I Am Increasingly Giving Signs To Those Who I Haven’t Yet Set Free, Says The Lord
2)  My Devouring Fire Is Creating More And More On-Fire Trailblazers, Says The Lord
3)  You Are A CATALYST To See Other People’s Faith CATAPULTED To A Whole New Level, Says The Lord

4 – The Mission Continues

As we write these words the time is 4pm on day 2/6 of this divine mission in Bergerac, and we will be adding more updates on what the Lord does, even as we head out on to the streets of Bergerac once again this evening.
