My Secret Sin That Was Suddenly Brought Out Into The Open For All To See On 20th February 2024
I teach about purity.
I teach about being sanctified.
I teach about being consecrated.
I teach about being holy just as God is Holy.
I teach about being spotless & blameless in His sight.
I teach about living with a pure heart and clean hands.
I teach about not just being a hearer of the Word, but being a doer of the Word.
I teach about how it is a sin to know what you aught to do and then not do it.
Up until a few days ago there was a sin that I was continuing to commit in secret…
No-one within the ministry that I steward, Become Born-Again Worldwide Ministry, knew I was committing this sin.
None of the ministry ambassadors knew I was committing this sin.
No-one who receives from me in any way through the social media channels for the ministry knew I was committing this sin.
I was living in sin yet preaching on how we shouldn’t live in sin if we want to climb the Lord’s Holy mountain and be His hands and feet.
God knew I was living in sin.
The enemy, that prowls around watching everyone and everything that is going on across the earth, knew I was living in sin.
The enemy, the father of lies, the accuser of the brethren, had a legal case against me because of my secret sin.
Before I continue, does the enemy have a case against you?
Are there any sins that you are continuing to commit, likely in secret?
Is there anything that you know from God’s Word is how you should be living, that you aren’t following?
Are there any sins from the Bible, particularly from the teachings of Jesus and through the New Testament, that you are committing?
In Jesus name, may the Holy Spirit reveal to you any sins that are currently hidden in the darkness of your life, so that the light of Christ can shine on them, you can confess, repent with all your heart, and then the enemy can be disarmed.
So, about the sin that I was continuing to commit?
From 2019 up until 20th February 2024, I personally owed money to the government. I owed the UK government personal tax, dating back to the financial year 2018/19.
In early 2019 our marriage collapsed after being together for 24 years.
In summer 2019 the highly respected digital agency PRWD that I had been running for around 14 years almost collapsed.
In 2019 I was on the verge of bankruptcy, saved only by God’s grace.
The personal tax owed to the government was based upon the huge dividend income we had been taking out from PRWD, between £80,000-140,000 annually over the last 5 years, plus the tax we personally owed on the 2 luxury company cars that we were driving round in - a brand new £80,000 Land Rover Discovery and a brand new £40,000 Audi TT.
Following our marriage collapse and having to take out a 3 year loan of £50,000 to save the business from bankruptcy in summer 2019, in late 2019 to early 2020 the 2 company cars were returned.
I got notification in early 2020 that the amount of tax I owed for the previous financial year was over £10,000.
I didn’t have any money to my name to pay this tax owed.
Through 2020 and up until February 2022, so for just over 2 years, I was having to learn to live by faith alone when it came to personal finances. I often shared testimonies of how God was showing me that He truly is our provider in all things.
It was only by God’s grace that I was able to continue living in our £700,000 7 bedroom family home during 2021 and 2022. God even used Covid in 2020 to give me 6 months where I didn’t have to pay the £2000 a month mortgage.
In early 2022 my personal finances changed dramatically, when it was God’s perfect timing that our £700,000 family home would be sold, providing a significant amount of equity to split between the 2 of us.
When I received my half of the equity, God said to me:
“Paul, I don’t want you owing any company, friends or family members any money. I have blessed you with the money from the house sale, so now pay back each company and person you owe”
Pretty much on one day after getting the equity money, every company, friend and family member was paid back what they were owed. It was over £20,000 in total.
A few months later I received letters from HSBC Business bank, which had been the bank for PRWD up until PRWD being closed down in January 2021 with it no longer being financial viable. They were reminding me that there was still almost £25,000 of business debt that I was personally liable for, as I was the guarantor. I had known about this money owed, but I hadn’t over the last 12 months had the money to pay off this debt.
I called HSBC and spoke to one of their team. They explained that I can get a payment plan in place with them to start paying off the debt monthly, potentially over 5 years.
Whilst considering doing this, God spoke to me and said:
“Paul, I don’t want you owing HSBC any money. I have blessed you with the money from the house sale, so now pay off the whole amount in one go”
I told the women I would like to pay the full amount of £25,000 off today. As you would expect she was very surprised, but gladly provided me with the necessary payment details.
The £25,000 owed to HSBC was paid back.
It was now May 2022, I was debt free personally from any companies, friends, family members and my old business, BUT I still owed the UK government over £10,000.
During the rest of 2022 and 2023, particularly with me having been truly awakened in 2020 to the depth of corruption that God has been allowing within all governments across the world, regarding the £10,000 I owed, my thought process to justify me not paying it back was:
“The UK government is corrupted. There is 100’s of millions of money gets used and distributed dishonestly. There are thousands of companies and individuals who owe far more money than I do. God, surely you would much rather use the money you bless me with to advance Your Kingdom and not to give to the corrupt UK government? God, are you going to take this debt away from me rather than me having to pay for it?”
By February 2024, God hadn’t taken the deby away. In fact, the debt was brought out from the darkness in late 2023, when for the 1st time in over 3 years I started working with an accountancy firm, as God had told me in 2023 He wants me to start running the consultancy www.becomecustmercentric.com and my personal finances officially, using an accountancy firm.
When my accountancy firm got access to my HMRC personal tax account, there was this £10,000+ debt showing as owing on my tax account, from the 2018/19 financial year.
There was no hiding it.
What had been hidden in the dark was being brought out in to the light.
In January 2024, God blessed the consultancy with a new research project, with a contact valued at more than the £10,000 that I owed to HMRC. It was for Allianz, the worlds largest healthcare provider, who I have been working with since the PRWD days. They are the 1 client that God has so far brought over from PRWD to Become Customer-Centric, all glory to God.
On Wednesday 14th February, with the research project just stated, I sent the invoice over to the accounts lady at Allianz. I asked her when she expects for me to receive payment. She told me that the invoice will be paid on Friday 23rd February, so I should expect to see the payment in the bank by Tuesday 27th February 2024 - just before I fly out to America on mission on the 3rd March.
On Tuesday 20th February 2024, I had almost £0 in my personal bank account, and there was almost £0 in the ministry bank account and there was £0 in the consultancy bank account. I had my mobile phone bill coming out the following day, and I had a monthly car tax bill to pay.
God knew that I didn’t want to receive any emails or phone calls saying that my bill payment has been declined. I have had enough of those since 2019.
Before starting the Tuesday 12pm Zoom with ministry ambassadors, I started walking down to the shower block on the caravan site we currently live on. On my walk down the Lord spoke to me and said:
“Paul, for 5 years you have owed money to the government. I haven’t taken away your debt as it is money that you owe from the life you used to live. You owe it to the government and you have to pay it back. I have once again blessed with you consultancy work. When you receive payment I want you to pay off the tax that you owe completely. I don’t want you owing any money to anyone or any institution in any way.”
I knew God was right. I was going to do as God was telling me to do, once I get the money paid from Allianz the following week.
The Lord then spoke to me again and said:
“For the last 5 years the enemy has had a legal right over you in relation to your finances, as you have been living in sin by owing money to the government. Once you paid off what you owe, you will have completely disarmed the enemy and you will silence the enemy. Then, watch as I truly begin to open up my storehouses of financial provisions for my ministry and for you and your family.
Can you now see why I have held back from releases greater financial blessings in to your life and the ministry? Remember, you are to be holy just as I am Holy, and remember, it is a sin to know what you aught to do and then not do it”
Wow.
SUDDENLY, on 20th February 2024, God gives me absolutely wisdom and revelation as to what has been His reason for not yet, during the 1st 3 years of Become Born-Again Worldwide Ministry, opening up His storehouses of financial provisions to allow the ministry to do greater and greater work for the Great Commission, making disciples to the four corners of the earth.
A few hours later I was in our caravan, having done the weekly 12pm Zoom and the 1st or 10 1 hour research sessions for the Allianz research project. I knew I had my car tax bill to pay and my mobile phone bill due the following day.
I went on to my Monzo banking app to see whether I had enough money to pay the small car tax bill.
I switched over from my personal account to my business account.
My eyebrows raised and I looked at my phone screen in awe and wonder.
At 6am that morning, the 20th February 2024, the Allianz invoice payment had come in to the business bank account.
The Allianz invoice payment for the invoice I had only sent over to their accounts lady on Wednesday 13th February 2024.
The Allianz invoice that I was told would be paid out on Friday 23rd February and received in my bank by Tuesday 27th February.
The Allianz invoice that was paid out by them 2 days after receiving the invoice.
The Allianz invoice to their smallest ever supplier across the flat stationary earth, a 1 man band working out of his family caravan without any WiFi.
