Journalling With Jesus - The Giant Sweet Emporium

Thank You Jesus.

Thank You, Jesus, for the breath in my lungs.

Thank You, Jesus, for Your undeserved grace, Your rich mercy and for Your unfailing love which lasts forever.

Thank You, Jesus, for Your Word which is alive and active.

Jesus, as I lay here in bed in the Airbnb that you have brought me and my daughters with, I ask You to take me away, to give me a vision, an experience, an encounter with You.

The Vision & Experience

Jesus, You have brought me to the largest, the greatest sweet Emporium there could ever be.

I am with You Jesus as my 11 year old self.

I am with you in the middle of this giant sweet Emporium, and everywhere I look, in every direction, there are sweets of every single variety.

I look around and see every single kind of sweet that I have ever tasted and eaten during my life, particularly in my younger years, and I also see countless other types and styles of sweets that I have never seen before.

Everything is freely available. There isn't a need to even spend a penny to take any of the sweets, to taste them, to eat them.

This giant sweet Emporium would be described as heaven on earth for anyone who likes eating sweets. It is truly mesmerising. The range of colours represented everywhere that I look is mesmerising. This is paradise for someone with a sweet tooth.

As I look at You Jesus, You are looking around smiling. You have this kind of “knowing” expression upon your face.

Jesus, share with me what is your reason for bringing me to this giant sweet Emporium. Share with me wisdom and give me revelation, not just for my own life, but for me to share with my brothers and sisters too.

My beloved son Paul, I have brought you here to experience this today on the 31st of October 2023. Each year on this day, upon the earth sweets and treats are bought, handed out and eaten on a huge scale.

I brought you here as your 11 year old self, for this is an age when you loved to eat sweets every day. You had what the world describes as a “sweet tooth”. You had a craving for sugar and sweet things.

This craving for sugar and sweet things is the same for billions of people who I created across the earth.

This giant, mesmerising sweet Emporium represents how the world appears to offer people living in sin with every single thing that they need to satisfy their sinful desires.

Sweets, all these sweets, freely available, represent all the different sins people freely commit every single day.

This variety of every single kind and type of sweet represent every single kind and variety of sin.

Just like for someone who enjoys sweets, this Emporium would be like paradise for people who enjoy their sin. The world continually offers them what they need to satisfy their sinful desires, but just like being in this giant sweet Emporium with a sweet tooth and being able to consume as much as you can possibly stomach, yet you know deep down that this is not healthy at all. There will be no good that comes of it at all.

This is just as it is in the world with sin.

There is no good that comes of any sin.

There is no good that comes through living in known sin.

There is no good that comes with satisfying a person's sinful desires.

It only leads to ruin.

It only leads to greater and greater darkness.

My beloved son Paul, I brought you here on this date 31st of October 2023, to give you wisdom and revelation, and for you to share this with your brothers and your sisters.

When I rescue people from their sin, from the miry clay, from the deep waters, and I set them on me the rock of all ages, they begin to read my Word, and as they begin to experience life in me, the Lord your God, they begin to experience that as they taste and see, they begin having the revelation that I the Lord are good.

My son Paul, your life now, surrendered to me, where you deny yourself and pick up your cross daily to follow me, allows you to experience life and the world that I created, that I sustain, in a way which is like your 11 year old self being in this sweet Emporium, but now everything that you see, everything that my Spirit leads you to experience, is good, is pure, is lovely, is true.

Every day I give you experiences and encounters which are memorable.

Experiences which nourish your soul.

Experiences that satisfy you.

Experiences which brings my joy into your life.

Every day you taste and see that I the Lord your God is good.

Just like this sweet Emporium would continually satisfy someone with a sweet tooth, just like how the world continually satisfies people who are living in sin to do more and more and more sin, in my Kingdom, in the Promised Land, what you experience in me gives you a thirst, gives you a hunger, gives you a desire to experience more and more and more of my goodness, of my peace, of my joy, of my miracles, signs and wonders, of my divine nature, of my perfect orchestration of your life, of my glory, for I am the King of Glory.

My beloved son Paul, tell all your brothers and your sisters, come, taste and see that the Lord is truly good.
